Our latest investment has resulted with the installation of a Mori Seiki NH4000 DCG, Twin Pallet Horizontal Machining Center.

The NH Series of machining centers is designed to achieve extended hours of operation during High Speed, High Precison Machining.

DCG (Driven at the Center of Gravity) minimizes vibration which in turn allows for high quality machining, improved surface finishes, faster speeds and cycle times resulting in improved tool life.

High Pressure through tool coolant, combined with a maximum tool length the same size as the pallet, means deep hole drilling and boring can be performed from one side of the work piece.

The machine is also fitted with a Renishaw Probe to allow for accurately locating datum’s when setting up and also inspection of finished sizes within the cutting cycle.

This machine is ideally suited to high volume production runs or more complex work pieces which require machining on multiple faces.
